Our Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to centralize the information we dig up on the web regarding gluten free living. Our personal interests/concerns include celiac disease, gluten intolerance, egg allergies and avoiding diabetes by eating a controlled carb diet. We also have a dairy intolerance in our families although it seems that this is one of the lesser allergies. We don't advocate or follow a certain diet, but try to eat foods that are low on the glycemic index and as close to nature as we can - unprocessed, unrefined etc.

As these different food allergies/intolerances have cropped up in our family, we have researched and found many good resources that have helped us improve our health. This blog will hopefully bring those links, recipes, ideas, resources, etc. together to help anyone else who might be finding themselves in the same boat as us or just want to know where to start in living a healthier lifestyle.

We love good food and enjoy cooking and baking so we will give reviews of recipes and how our families responded.

We welcome all ideas and thoughts. We are definitely in a learning curve ourselves but hopefully can shorten or lessen the curve for those of you who are on this journey with us and need some ideas and resources.
